Dining at Rupert's
Rupert’s is one restaurant with four ways to settle in. Dinner in the dining room, a flight at the bar, a summer evening on the patio, or a private room with you and your people around a table. Same kitchen behind all of it.
The Dining Room
Dinner service runs five nights a week, and this is where Chef Gary Kucy’s menu gets its full stage: local meat, wild morels and huckleberries when we can forage them, and bread, cheese, and pastries from right here in McCall. The room is relaxed enough for a Thursday and nice enough for the anniversary. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.
The Bar
The fully remodeled bar opens ahead of the dining room most days, which makes it the natural home of happy hour, Thursday through Sunday from 2:30 to 5, plus Martini Monday from 4 to 6. The liquor list runs deep: a rare Japanese whiskey flight, a bourbon flight, a scotch flight, and a rye flight, next to one of the largest wine selections in town. There’s an espresso machine too, if the evening calls for a proper finish.
The Patio
When the weather cooperates, the patio is the seat everyone asks for: open air, a view of Payette Lake, and the full menu and happy hour service outside. The patio is open from late May through early October, and it goes fast on summer evenings.
Private Dining
A private dining room inside the restaurant handles rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, and company gatherings, and the events team can build a banquet menu to match. Winemaker dinners and chef collaboratives happen here too.
