Thai Night Thursdays at Rupert's
Every Thursday, the kitchen at Rupert’s turns toward Thailand. It started as a chef’s indulgence and became the busiest tradition of the week: a rotating Thai menu, one night only, from 5pm until the last reservation.
Why a Fine Dining Kitchen Cooks Thai Food
Chef Gary Kucy spent eight years cooking with Mark Miller at the Coyote Café in Santa Fe, with stints opening restaurants and promoting the food in Singapore, Mexico, and across the country. The fondness for Asian flavors never left. Thai Night is where that training shows up in McCall: the balance of heat, sour, salt, and sweet, done with the same local sourcing as the rest of the menu.
On the Menu
The Thai Night menu rotates, but expect dishes like Crying Tiger Beef, Curry Bowls, Pad Thai, and more. The full bar pours alongside it, and yes, the wine list has bottles that love curry.
